it was actually databse folder only one file was copied and other two were not copied...
it is installed..
not fiddiling with forum setup...categories and forum
is there any tutorial available? or we need to try and test?

in asp.net which has some databse i have to work and transfer that data also...

It's very hard reading your post as to what the issue is as it seems very erratic and jumps about.

I've checked the email subscription page and can not see what you are referring to. The only buttons that I see twice are for 'Unsubscribe' but one is for topic subscriptions and the other is for forum subscriptions and both do different jobs.

Modifying the code and database is fine as long as you have a paid Premium Edition. The Free Editions do not permit you to edit the code or database.

but the one which i downloaded today has some bugs in display

1)  in IE some images are not displayed as if wrong path..
2) in firefox images and text both show simultaneously...
like search button above...etc.... image is there with text command...
and it is happening in other places tooo..
i have these screens grabbed... for you to see....

Lots of posts with lots of questions so it will make this very hard to answer them all.

In regards to the question on time zones. ASP can not get UTC times which is very limiting and means only the time set on the web server itself is available, which means that time zones are limited.

The issue with the subscription tab sounds like it relates to your image issue. Are you using the forum on a non server OS like XP or Vista? If so then this is your problem as home user OS's are limited to just 10 connections. If you look at the forum in more than 1 browser you will use up your connection limit which means some connections are rejected like those to download images for the page. If you run the forum on a server OS or just use a single browser after rebooting the computer you will see all the images.

Your question on stats for the amount of posts being wrong. I am going to guess here but i bet you are using the Access version and are deleting posts adding new ones etc. in quick succession. Access is not a very good database and can tend to be a bit slow so it doesn't always update fast enough, which is why it is not recommend to use in production environments. Use the 'Rsync Stats' tools to correct the forum stats for forums and topics.
