Dreamweaver MX

I haven't read the book "The Missing Manual".  You might want to check out "Macromedia Dreamweaver MX: Training from the Source".  It is setup so that you run through tutorials to learn rather than just reading descriptions of how the program works.  The draw back to this book is that it does not take into consideration previous knowledge in web development.  Example: it will explains what tables are then continues on showing how to use them in Dreamweaver.

I'd just make a trip to the bookstore and take a look at em before you decide to buy them.  (Amazon enables you to look at several of the pages online.)  Hope this was of some help.

If you're wanting to get a better idea of integration between the Studio MX Suite components, try some of the sample applications on Macromedia's web site.

There are a number of different ones available and, as Macromedia really wants the new MX packages to be considered part and parcel of eachother, there is a big emphasis on suite integration.

Other than that, I've never found a single book for any application, let alone Dreamweaver that really teaches what you need/want to know. I've always relied on trial and error and tutorials.
