Running on 9.64 version,how do i add a banner please.Confused

Do you mean a banner at the top of the forum page?
If so, upload the image of your banner to the forum folder images
Then in your admin control panel of your forum, click Setup and Configuration
Choose Configure Forum Skin
Under Custom Skin Settings second line box down is Forum Banner Image
Then type in the image location for your banner

Example:
http://www.myforums/forum_images/banner.jpg

Then click Update Skin and your banner should be there

OK,

I cant find a section that allows me to upload images in the admin area

The files and image upload features are only available in the Premium and Adware Editions.

If you are using a free Expression Edition, upgrade it in the admin area to the Adware Edition to add in the extra features.
