I was searching for some old Web Wiz posts using the following string: Device\Harddisk0\D
After clicking on some provided links I get the following error:
Quote Server Error in Forum Application
WARNING: SQL Injection attack detected.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_SqlInjectionTest()
File Name:- functions_filters.asp

Error details:-
The URL to the posts look something like: forum_posts.asp?TID=16849&KW=Device%5CHarddisk0%5CD&PID=84952#84952

Is this a known bug I was I just unlucky using this particular search pattern??

You did not say what version you are using.

However, there was such a bug around this time last year, if you upgrade your forum it should fix the issue.

Hi Bruce, the version we're using is ver. 9.54 so I guess it's time for an update of the software although the decision would be up to the forum administrator.

Would updating from version 9.54 to 9.64 be seamless and problem free??

Yes it should be, just a case of following the upgrade instructions to upload the new files and then run the install/upgrade wizard.
