Replace the files in the database directory with those form the latest version, then when you call up your forum the setup/upgrade wizard will run allowing you to put in your database connection details and test the work.

Make sure also you have read and write permissions on the database folder, even if using mySQL or SQL Server.

The error means that the database driver is not installed on the server.

To be able to help would need to know ALLOT more information, such as the database type you are using, if you are using a 32bit or 64bit server OS, if you are using mySQL are you selecting the myODBC 3.51 or 5.1 driver?

The error means that the myODBC Driver version 5.1 is not installed on the server. Try using the older 3.51 driver as if your web host is still on Windows 2003 I doubt they would have updated to the 5.1 driver.

If you run the server yourself then both the myODBC 3.51 and 5.1 drivers can be downloaded from the mySQL website and both can be installed on the server at the same time.
