Error after upgrade

I upgraded my forum from version 9.x to 9.68 today.

Everything displays fine, but I can't post any new posts to the forum. When I check the forum permissions, it says I can do everything.

Next to the buttons of the quick reply form (left of POST REPLY button) there is an error message displaying, that says "Error connecting to server".

I guess this is causing my issue, but I'm not sure how to fix it?

Make sure you have updated all changed files and new files. If in doubt just upload all the files and images from the latest version keeping the existing database 'as is'.

There should be a new file called ajax_session_alive.asp, it sounds like this file is either corrupted, not uploaded, or you have not correctly updated a file that links to this new file.

Also make sure that you have updated the includes/default_javascript_v9.js file and that it is correctly linked to in the includes/header.asp file. S

Thanks for the help, it was the ajax_session_alive.asp file that didn't upoload correctly to the server

I've been using this forum software on my site for almost 2 years...It's the best!
