Why does not the RSS? This facility is new and has not been touched, only uses the database from the previous version. Thank you. With version 1 works perfectly. I have installed on another domain forum and there appears good news. He is a servant in Spain. Thank you.

Within RSS_news_feed.asp and line 217 I removed the chain &t= work. I turned to leave as it was until I tell if I've done right. This is what I changed.

Original:

strCanonicalURL = strNewsPadURI & "RSS_news_feed.asp?CAT=" & intCategory & SeoUrlTitle(strCatName, "&t=")

My:

strCanonicalURL = strNewsPadURI & "RSS_news_feed.asp?CAT=" & intCategory & SeoUrlTitle(strCatName, "")

The logo does not appear in RSS_news_feed.asp. Nor on its website. As we also know that purchased the forum should appear.

The modification that you have made is incorrect and would break the RSS Feed link from working.

Your NewsPad pages are not showing the pages correctly as you have not set the correct page encoding from the admin area.

This is likely to be affecting the RSS Feeds which use XML. XML is really picky as it is a strongly type language, any issues with encoding or structure of your newspad posts would break the RSS Feeds and prevent them showing in your browser.

I have the same encoding that I have put into the forum. I've seen on a line below that instead of "&t=" makes "&t=" and when I put it work.

 Does not appear on the logo, I've noticed that does appear in firefox and internet explorer does not appear. The forum appears in both browsers.

It would appear that you are upgrading NewsPad from a previous version where you are using the page encoding iso-8859-1.

You need to use this same page encoding with your upgraded NewsPad so that it can correctly display your NewsPad posts.

It has put the same code on the control panel. I suppose that in the RSS shows the control panel code.

I've just checked and the page encoding for NewsPad 2 on your website is still set to utf-8, you need to update it to iso-8859-1 as this is the encoding that your NewsPad 2 posts have been made under.

Once this is done it should hopefully fix your RRS Feed issue as well as long as there are no issues within the posts that you have created which could break XML which is strongly typed and therefore very easy to break by having incorrect or bad coding.
