Hello Borg, great job with this V7 !

So, if i want to use the "ASP simple upload" component, i just need to modify the "functions_upload.asp" or something else ?

For exemple : If a re-order "persist" component by "asp simple upload" component, that's run ?

ASP simple upload was found not to have enough functionality to be of any use in the forum, it could be used but would open a few big security holes and also problems with uploaded files and images being overwritten.

borg, some guy Techy on Maddogs asp website had a file upload mod for v6.34 using asp simple upload. his was made for images only however and files with the same name were not overwritten but renamed automatically. that means its possible no?

Sure, but my hosting works only with ASP simple upload... So...

If u have something to help me -borg- i appreciate ! i think that i just need to change the variables in a upload method for use with Simple upload, No ? you agree ! helppppppp !!!

Ps : For protect overwrite, the folder's right must be only "create" (no modify, no delete...) and for security the folder must be a virtual directory ouside the forum folder... that my way...

It's not as simple as that, ASP simple upload simply won't work with the present system without lossing security and also using the FSO object in conjuction  with it which is disabled on many hosting accounts. You'll just have to get your host to install the Dundas Upload component which is also free and much better.
