    Posted: 18 June 2013 at 12:44am
My website has hundreds of thousands of members, but my forum is still empty. Well it is not empty, but it is scarce of forum posts. It is been some years since it has been up. I've tried every technique in the book to get thing going, such as, encouraging users to post, but still nothing worked.

Question:

1. Is there any auto forum generator out there for webwiz forum that there is for other forums types? Something similar to forumgenerator.net

Using software like this to auto generate content for your forum is the fastest way to to drive traffic away from your forum and get your site removed from search engines.

This software copies from places like Yahoo Answers and reposts it in your own forum. Not only is this copyright violation but search engines like Google would treat this as spam and could remove your website from their listings for having duplicate content that has been copied from other websites.

Most successful forums start off with a group of friends who have a similar passion for a topic actively chatting in their forum, then slowly other friends and people with a similar passion on the topic start also joining.

You can also pay companies to post good quality original content within your forum. This may not get people chatting in your forum, but if the content is original and good quality should help get you listed higher in Google which would drive more traffic to your forum and hopefully more people posting in your forum.

I would also try to suggest to that if you have a dedicated website rather than just the forums, why not put a preview of the forum on the home page.
