I'm evaluating the WebWiz forum before I buy the Premium Edition, and I wonder if anyone can help answer a couple of questions.
I'm having horrendous problems hiding forums. Using a separate browser, but not logging in, I can see *some* forum names (but can't access them) but others are missing.
I've cleared all permissions for the 'Guest Group' and the 'Guests' user account. I would expect either all of the forums to be visible (but not accessible) to a guest visitor or, even better, the Categories and forums would be invisible to them entirely. But I have some forums visible and others invisible.
What I'd like is for 'guests' and newly registered users to only see an 'intro' category/forum. Then, I add them to either 'Group One' or 'Group Two'. That group membership then gives them access to one of the two 'real' Categories/Forums. So, members of 'Group One' wouldn't even see the Group Two category or forums.
Is this possible?
