    Posted: 26 October 2015 at 2:00pm
Hi
On 10.14 Web Wiz running on a Windows 2012 server.

I am getting the occasional malformed URL for some links and other links are permanently malformed.

For example if I go to www.rolling-maul.com and click "Championship", sometimes it works but sometimes it is adding on extra info such as the SID part

Other links are just not working at all

Any ideas?

Thanks

Try updating to the latest version of Web Wiz Forums and using the latest version of Web Wiz Forums URL Rewrite.

The IIS URL Rewrite Mod version of Web Wiz Forums URL Rewrite works the best.

In addition enable SEO Friendly URL's from the Search Engine Optimization page in the admin area.

That sorted it however some words now have links through to Amazon etc. I updated to the latest version and the URL rewriting tool. I have played around with some settins in the SEO settings but nothing is changing it. Cant think elsewhere. What would be creating links in some words please?

Thanks

This would be the VigLink Ads which can be disabled from the forum ads page in the admin area.
