creating a wysiwyg text box

Hi

I basically need help creating a text box on a webpage, i have seen loads on the internet that you can download but none are really what i am looking for, it has to be no components, just straight code like what there is on this forum, I have tried adapting it but not very well and i do not want to put it on my site because i do not want to steal code, so id anyone knows a good place that i can get one from please say.

also on a unrelated topic that is not that important, I have recently started up a company selling computers, and I need to get a logo sorted, anyone know of a site that can do cool looking logos for free?
