you probably dont have Front Page Extensions installed, that is the only prereq of starting a project on an IIS server in Frontpage or Interdev

Are you running XP Pro or XP home as XP home doesn't have IIS.

If XP Pro, make sure IIS is running.

If IIS is running what happens when you type in http://127.0.0.1 into your browser?

If that doesn't work, reinstall IIS.

If it does work (ie you get the IIS start page), then I suggest reinstalling IIS and then VI.

VI is a bit dodgy at times.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Andrew
