Topic: display Chinese in PM Posted: 23 June 2003 at 6:56am |
Some members of my forum registered with a Chinese name, and these name can't be displayed correctly in the PM page. when I click "send PM" in their profile page, the send new PM page open, but the name in the "To Username" field is a lot of chars than can't be identify, like “?¨èY3t3t???úò?", and the system report "no such user" if I sent to this name, so I have to clear and input them myself. Please help me.

like this:
<%@ language="VBscript" codepage ="936" %>
And
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=gb2312">
The two steps must do at the same time.
