Hello again,

I'm very demanding these days.

Take a look if you dont understandin http://www.oraclebmwracing.com/session:1vox41wbb1/segeln/en/3_usa76/33_mast.html

How do I keep my header and footer static and scroll down the middle of the page (if needed). I won't use frames.

any ideas, tutorials, flaming, will be welcome!

Thanks again!

They are using frames, you could do the same with iframe but I don't think there is an easier way to do it.

Thanks michael!

What about layers?

They are fairly easy to use.

Did they dont work on "not-IE" browsers or how old browsers?

I try it with IE 5.0, mozzila 1 and opera 7... all work well... but I'm afraid of using it and turns out badly...

I would not use layers, I find they are not cross browser compatible. If you want a layout like that you might just be stuck with frames which are not always bad.

CSS should work. Look into the :overflow property.

www.w3schools.com/css should have an example.

Cheers,
Andrew
