I've been offered some contract work on a web design team, and want to know the going rate to charge em, can anyone point me in the right direction?

I wouldn’t say necessarily that there is a going experience. A lot depends on your experience/knowledge. And also what technologies the work/contracts would require.

Kind of depends upon what your'e doing for them, and where you are...

Are you located in some remote island farming community? Or a world class metropolis?

Doing Graphisc? Data Base? Coding? Scriptings?
