Is there any way to create a new group that can move up the ladder system, the people in the group do not have to have a specific number of posts...instead, I choose the members, and this group is the only group that sees a particular part of the forum...

This would be particularly useful for beta-testing...If I wanted a private beta-testing group that has the ability of seeing the "beta-testing" part of the forum, but I do not want others to know that they have a special status. Is there any way of doing this?

If not, could you consider this for an additional feature to the board?

You can do it in the groups admin.....

hehe, I'm not that ignorant!

How do I make it so that their ladder status is not effected, the text below their name (Example: Full Member) is not changed...I want everyone who is in that group to stay the same except for them having the ability of seeing an extra part of the forum.

Ermm...

Just tick the 'non-ladder group' box when you make a new group, and that's it... the only people that go in this group will be the poeple you put in and they will stay there

Then you can make a forum that only allows these people in

That's what you wanted isn't it?

Yeah but on other forums they should be displayed in Full member or Newbie....
