Looking for Advice and Maybe Help

I'll try to be brief. There are some really good ASP gurus here so I need some advice.

I have been requested to build a website that has some elements that are currently beyond my ASP skills so I am looking for advice and possibly some collaboration. Yes, there will be payment involved; however, like every client there is a limited budget.

I am linking a pdf document with some of the requested features and functions for the website. What I would like to request is some general opinions/ballpark ranges on charging for something like this. It will have to be database driven obviously, and I should imagine SQL Server will in order for best functionality. Anyway, take a look and gimme some feedback. If I can fully close the deal, I will be needing some help.

That's actually about 5-6 projects all rolled into one. My suggestion would be to treat it as multiple projects and farm out those parts that you can not do on your own. The e-commerce functionality should be given to someone with e-commerce experience, the calendar to someone who can build a calendar, etc. My suggestion would be to work out the user management and login structure first, so that that information can be given to the outside programmers, so that the site will integrate well in the user area.

Nothing looks beyond the scope of ASP and the overall speed of the application would depend upon the number of people accessing the web site simultaneously. I would definitely recommend a SQL Server back end.

If I was taking the project as the lead developer, I wouldn't be asking for project pricing on a web forum. Pricing would really depend on how much was going to be integration and how much was new programming. Even small e-commerce packages run the $5000-6000 and that doesn't include integration. With projects like this, I have done a strict hourly rate and a project rate. Get a feel for their budget and put together a proposal that you feel is reasonable.
