I migrated to v7 from v6 and the migration appeared to go over just fine.  Users transfered over and passwords (except for admin) transfered over just fine.  I re-sync'd the forums and all and got the thread counts and all to show.  Problem is, when you log in, automatically all forums are marked with no access.  Do i have to go person by person and set rights for each forum?

Try changing the generic permission for each forum (Admin Menu --> Forum Admin --> click on the forum name).

You shouldn't have to. I've done several and not had that problem. Are you using an Access database, and did you use the migration tool?

well I ended up solving that problem for me.  I just set myself the admin properties and went and set the properties to each forum.  Now my visitors are complaining that when they go to reply, as soon as they hit Post, the buttons go grey to show that you submitted, but it doesnt go anywhere.  They arent able to reply.  Whats wrong now?
