Watched topic becomes unwatched error?

Hi!

I'm running version 7.01

When I click on "Watch this topic for replies. " it becomes "Un-Watch this topic for replies. " like it should.  However if I go and post something in that thread it becomes "Watch this topic for replies" again (so I'm no longer watching the thread), plus I never even get notice of the post I did.

Is this an error??  Should I re-upload a file to correct this??

It was made like that so that the check box can be used to turn off email notification, if you want to keep getting them for that topic keep checking the box.

So every time I post in a thread I'm watching I have to re-tell it to keep watching?? Or the little saying at the bottom changes to say I'm not watching, but I really am??

Correct. The easy way to sort this is to modify your profile, in the 'Forum Preferences' section there is an option to change the default state of that checkbox - if you change that to true then the checkbox will be ticked unless you change it.
