Can not login into Admin section

Hi all,

I just got your bulletin board even if I was a bit surprised to find a such ASP application for free...

Well, I uploaded it to server where everything is well configured, running IIS 5, database is working and there are no script errors.

I log in with default user name and password and every time I try to get into admin section, to create new forum and manage them, it just tells me Access is denied.

I haven't modified a line of code, except for database path.

So I'm wondering why I can't get into admin panel.

hey, it is probaly because you changed the database path... maybe your first database(the one that is in /database/wwforum.mdb) is still there, and the admin part is getting the info from that...

but if that doesnt work, try clearing your cookies from the bottom of the page... i have had times where i couldnt get into the admin section... but I use mssql version, not access, but i did use it for a very long time : ) it worked fine until i had about 2000 posts in each forum : )

But... if all else fails, just go to http://www.youriste.site/forum/admin/

it should bring up a login box, unless they did away with it in 7.1
