I have Apache Webserver under RH 8.0.  I just installed Sun ONE ASP on the server.  I then copied the Forums from a windows IIS Windows XP Pro to the Apache server.  When I try and access the default.asp as the standard start of the forum Im getting this error.

 

  • Error Type:
    ADODB.Connection.1 (0x800A0BB9)
    The application is using arguments that are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
    common.asp, line 175

    I have done search in the forums and nothing close to this.  What should do or how do I correct the prob.  Where is the Actual Database held?  I have enable all read, write to all folders.

    The forum software will only run under IIS on windows.

    Hmm, he did install ASP though...

    Doesn't matter, Sun One ASP doesn't fully support Microsoft ASP2+ which is required for the forum software to run, and nor does ChilliASP.

    It will only run under MS IIS 4+ with Microsoft ASP2.0+

    Can anyone suggest a Forum that will run on Apache

    Use a php board on Apache, there are plenty out there!
