is there a way to do this? like see if another domain has a cookie meaning the person is from there site and if it exists take them to a banned page ..

Do you have any idea of the security risk that would have. Some porn site could bust a popup on you and download all your login info for your credit card

Just an example.

you can use http thinggy to find out where the user came from, thats as close as your gonna get to it though

I have a similar problem as the Forum is hosted on one site and my main site is hosted elsewhere - I have had to use the dreaded iframe.

I was told (through this forum) that there is a way to set cookies from one domain and be able to read them in via another, but it is really complex and I didnt even try it. I am told MS use this system on their sites.
