What should I configure on my IIS so that I could open ASP files in it?

I don't understand. Have you created virtual directory? if you have just open internet explorer an type http://localhost/dir/file.asp where dir is virtual directory and file.asp is your asp file. Check out the asp tutorial on this site!

I don't understand either. It seemed that the IIS was not compiling the files. I had to unistall the IIS and re-install it (from the Windows' CD) to get it working again.
