Forum icons dont mark as read.

When i view a post and back out the icon for the post is still a 'new' post icon. I can click mark all posts as read and that works  but thats not the right way.

Just to point out, it works fine on this forum, just not on mine. is there something i should check into?

The new post incon shows new posts since last visit.

I know, and if i visit a post, click back, the icon should change... as it does on this forum. but it does not on mine. It does show a new post, i can mark all forums as read, and it will show when a new post comes up. However when i view it like normal, then back out and look at the icon, its still set as new post.

It users cookies to check if you have read a post.

As cookie names have changed between versions make sure that all the files you have are from the same version. Some mods may prevent this form working as poeple can use old versions as the base for mods.

Ya no its just a normal copy of your forum. what is the name of the cookie? not that its going to help. like i said if i click 'mark all forums as read' it works.  but when i view the post it doesn't mark it.
