Email Notifications problem

I can´t make my WebWiz forum to send emails for notification or nothing else.

I tried on XP Corp. just with the SMTP virtual service but I have a "not relayed" message.  So then I tried with ASPemail and I received this:

Persits.MailSender.4 error '800a0006'

550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for euribe@sercomcr.net

/forum/admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 269

Then I notice that the windows xp SMTP was active so I sttoped, but then I receive:

Persits.MailSender.4 error '800a0004'

Connection refused.

My computer is not handling the sercomcr.net email server. I tried the email agent to make it use the other server but didnt work.

Can somebody tell me what I´m doing wrong?

It means that you can not connect to the SMTP server, you are using the wrong connection details.

I find that AspEmail doesn't work well with local SMTP servers. Try using XP's native email component CDOSYS.

when I tried to use  CDOSYS I received this message:

error '8004020f'

La clase de suceso para esta suscripción está en una partición no válida

/forum/admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 137

that in english means: The event class for this suscription is on a not valid partition.

Any Suggestion?

in configurazione email devi:

scegliere "cdosys"

outgoing smtp "il tuo server di posta"

Your email adress "un indirizzo valido"

(in configuration email you must:  to choose "cdosys"  outgoing smtp "your serveur of mail"  Your email adress "a valid address")

Se per accedere al server di posta devi essere autenticato/a bisogna modificare il file functions_send_mail.asp

(If in order to approach the mail serveur you must be autenticato/a it must modify the file  "functions_send_mail.asp")
