I don't know what are the shells or Bots.. but I have a client who wants to have them...
I don't know whether this must be a dedicated server or shared one... all what i know is that he wants to runs bots.. and asked me how many bots can the server handle !!!!

so can you tell me what are these things, and where can i find a hosting company for.

Bots for what?

If he runs anything like that it should be on a dedicated server.

I knew that this is for IRC and so on, I found some servers offering this for $5 monthly

you shouldnt allow him to run IRC on a shared server.

Is the IRC are chatting software like mIRC and so on...

what is the problem of running on a shared server?

Isn't it like any chat program like java and asp chats?

What if a company is offering this?
