Hello there,

I'm looking at Web Wiz Forums, but I need support for Closed Membership.

Just to clarify, Closed Membership would remove the Register icon/link and actually require me to create the user's account manually. This way I can set what their username is, etc. This is pretty much required for the type of forum I want to set up.

Any info would be appreciated.

I know.

The project I am working on right now is seperate from Roothell, and is being hosted on an ASP/MSSQL server, so that is why I am looking at Web Wiz Forums.

So can anyone answer my question??

To answer the question, you can manually remove the register link and just leave it for yourself so you manually enter it. You kind of need to do it webbased so in encrypts the password. So I would just delete the link to the registration part and navigate there manually.

THANK YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!

Actually, I already did what you suggested and it works great, I just wanted to see if maybe it was a hidden feature or something like that.

Thankyou for reading (and answering) my question and not assume that I was using PHP.

WebWiz Forums is now PERFECT for what we need. Thank you for a great product.
