I have changed the name and location of the DB, I have tested the forums on my PC running IIS and using the Access DB provided in the download, and it works fine.
I uploaded it to my Webserver and I am having problems. The first time I tried to get in, the default.asp came up. I then tried to login using the admin login provided I was given an error. Now everytime I go to the forum site I get this error message.
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Operation must use an updateable query.
/forum/common.asp, line 424
Line 424 in common.asp is
adoCon.Execute(strSQL)
I believe it is trying to write to the database. Am I having Permission problems? Is this something I need to discuss with my Host provider?
