I am trying to create a new way of scripting for my message board, does anyone know how i can replace;

<getpage value="http://www.microsoft.com">

with, <!--#include virtual="http://www.microsoft.com"-->

any help would be appreaciated, martin.

You cannot convert those values as those are two different technologies. One is asp and one is ssi, if you'd use a replace it would have it still in asp tags and it would bomb

Well first off.. you cannot use SSI ("include" statement) to include any file that is not located on the same server...

second, you can use XML to "scr*pe" the remote site
a la this fine example
