Hi friends,

I want to know is it possible that members have 50Pm and admins have 200-300 Pms limit.
I have seen my other admin has done it. The limit for everybody is 30 but he has got more than 90pms in hiss box.
How can i do that?

The limit is for normal users, the main admin account (the built in admin meber account) can send and receive as many PM's as they like.

The built in admin account (the one the forum comes with) is the main admin account and con not be deleted and has extra features not available to any extra admin accounts that you may have created.

Well Borg, He used to run a seperate forum and he told me that he had deleted that administrator account nor i saw that in memberlist but in my forum its enabled. When he had deleted that, so he got many msgs in his admin ac Jaleo.
Can this administrator account be hidden from other members?
Now i have another id india, cant i increase limit of pms in that a/c

The main admin account at position 1 in the database is the main admin account and is hard coded that it can not be deleted.

It is also hard coded that this account has extra features that other admins will not be able to have.

The main admin of the forum should be using this account, that can not be deleted, unactivated, moved to another group etc.

If you try to alter this main admin account your forum will become unstable and may not function at all.

that means i cant configure another id India who is admin 2 have more pms's
Can admin id be hidden?
can another admin change main admin ac's password?

If you login into the main admin account the username and password can be changed from the admin area.

Ok. i got in with main account. on top of admin area i see

For security it is highly recommended that you change the Admin Username and Password to stop others messing up your Forums!

that means 4m there i can change administrator userid to xyz also ??
Can such more administrators (main) acs be created?
Can a normal admin change this main accounts password?

i checked it n its allowing other admin's 2 change pass of main ac. it can b risky

can the main ac be hidden or done something that no other admin can edit his profile???
