Choice 2 would make it very difficult if you wanted to get to say page 51, you would need to go through around 5 pages just to be able to get up the link to page 51.

I actually changed my mind on this.
boRg's opinion is much more reasonable.

One thing though, is it really necessary for a popup to thank me for my vote? (The forum has great decorum!!) :)

That would look messy and complicated, usability is very important you don't want to make things to complicated and overwhelm the user with to many things, it will just put them off.

boRg, since this feature is about evenly split...maybe now the tide has changed. (I know that before, people agreed on the dropdown)

Could you make this an option? Either for the user or for the Admin to change in the Admin menu?

Also, I hate posting the same idea in two different threads, but could you put the dropdown/links (if you decide to make it an option) at the top and the bottom of a page?
