 Hi all,

After i register in the forum, i have an error:

Persits.MailSender.4 error '800a0002'

Host not found.

/portal/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 269

But, really i have registered successfully. Anyone know what it is ? How to fix it !

Thats a problem with the forum's webhost. It's tried to send an email but the email has failed due to a mis-configuration.

If you are the admin, then you have to go into the admin section and set up the correct details for mail. Otherwise you will have to contact the administrator of the forum and get them to fix it.

I am the admin, but i use the forum wwf v7.01 and free host domaindll.com . I don't know how to change the function sending a email to users to active. Could we remove this function ?

I don't think any free web hosts support sending email from your site, so you can not use the email features of the forum software.

You need to turn off email features from the admin area.

Thank boRg very much. I fixed this error by turnning off email features.

But i have a another question,if that make you interested !

I want to create more columns for users who can give their  private imformations clearly like: class, sex(male, female), district,...(that forum, i do for my old class at hight school).

Could you tell me how to do that?
