I know there have been a few DB changes in the new Beta and I was wondering if the new DB will have another Migration Tool or will the old one still work. I already have my new site built on my dev. Server and I am just waiting for the final to be released but before I do I need to put the most current data in the DB

The next release will have new db fields so the migration tool will most likely not work anymore, though am sure it will be adapted. Be aware that it is still beta and you never know what changes might be there to the final. Heck who knows, maybe bruce gets an idea an rewrites anything and nothing would work with previous mods. This is why everyone should hold off with putting it into production.

I just used the old code from my site and wanted to see how easy it would be to get the new beta to work and it worked very well. I just hope when the final comes out theres a way to bring in my old data

I am sure there will. Str8dog for example has good working scripts where I am sure he will keep adapting them till final is out.

Don't worry - I will update the Acc2K Migrator as soon as I get my hands on both Beta4 and the final release resectively. I need it myself!!
