Some of my users can get in, and some cannot. I can see and log on to the forum, whilst others get this message:

Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A000D)
Type mismatch: 'CDate'
/forumwiz/forum/common.asp, line 229

When removing this line, we encounter that some can get in, and then I and others cannot get in. My friend believe its server problem.. But if it all reverses then it shouldnt be a serverproblem. I have got no clue of what to do in this case.

I had to make several changes to direct correct path. The database is situated in a folder (root) called database, because this folder is the only place where there is permission to write.

If anyone has any good ideas, I am looking forward to see em.

There is a solution to the CDate problem that occurs on some servers listed in the documentation that comes with the forum.

I have tried your CDate suggestion in your documentation, changing the ID to 1030 (Denmark). However what happens now is that I too get the same 229 line error.

What I did was removing ', changing too 1030 (in both common.asp files), removing cookies, and got a 239 error (I think it was). I updated the asa file with the code:

'When a session starts on the server the following code will be run

Sub Session_OnStart

     'Set the server locale

     Session.LCID = 1030

End Sub

And got a 229 error.. Any other suggestions?

Regards

Try using the US local identifier, other than that it's some strange setting on the server that means the forum software is not compatible.
