I agree, a very clean site!
Suggestions would be as follows:
Too much purple. I understand youre probably trying to attract a mainly female audience, but enough is enough. Perhaps look into changing the text, or changing the entire site motif to a more gender-neutral color.
I agree with the above user that the FAQ section has to lose the bold-lettering.
You may want to consider integrating the FAQ section into the main article itself. I found that FAQ/FYI section to be the most informative and tale-telling of them all. Initially I was reading the website solely because I was critiquing it, but after reading through those stats I found myself legitimately interested in the cause itself. If you want to get people's attention quickly, there's no better way than showing them legitimate statistics.
The "site map" isnt needed at this point. Sites like Microsoft, eBay, etc need site maps. If the site grows to 50+ pages then look into implementing the map.
Finally, i'd recommend incorporating the definition of "VERONICA" into the main graphic on the top page. Put the definition below it in a smaller font and/or font type. It will elaborate some on the basic graphic itself, as well as engrain acronym into the reader's mind.
Good luck!
