dedicated file server?? eh??

hi all

just phoned my ISP and i am trying to sort out the file upload thing in the admin bit.

they told me i need my own dedicated file server to allow image uploading, is this right? this came from asking about the FSO being enabled and thry told me about needing my own server..........

Ps. i have upgraded my package from personal to business package which they told me supports the aspmail notifications when users subscribe to threads etc

its still not working, does the problem still ly with them as i have put in the correct SMTP settings etc..........

No you don't need a dedicated file server and from other posts it sounds like your web host isn't very good and are trying to wring every penny from you they can.
