Trend Micro Internet Security scans for ad/spyware in its Real Time scan feature. It removes them very well as well.

I don't see why people get so upset about adware. Some I can understand, but if I want a piece of software for free, the programmer should get some sort of compensation.

As long as it isn't too intrusive, it seems like a fair deal to me. I watch ads or let them collect some information, and I get some free software. These guys have to eat as well...

If you dont want spyware on your comp, buy the real thing that doesnt have it

Example: instead of download kazaa to get files, dont be cheap and buy the real version. That way, we dont have to listen to people that bitch, moan, and complain about spyware.

Maddog its not only downloading from KAZAA that gives you spyware. As soon as you connect your machine to the internet, you are vunerable. I connected a machine at work that had just come out of the box and I put it on the internet and downloded MS updates and after that I ran the spyware checker and it found loads.

So instead of you bitching and moaning about people who bich and moan, maybe you can get your facts straight first

If you dont want my peaches, dont shake my tree
