Hello...I have an idea, but I don't know if its possible to do.
Mi idea is for an advertising system.
Every post must have a button that only moderators and admins can see. The button should call "Advert", "Alert", "Red Card" or something like that.
So...when the post is violating the forum rules, a moderator or the admin, press this buttons, and send automatically a private message to the user, indicating that he violated the forum rules, and also automatically edit the message puttin a banner like this "Edit by(username of the admin or mod that advertised): This posts is violating the forum rules. You're advertised".
Then, if this button was pressed 3 times, the user must be automatically banned, and receive and e-mail explaining.
The user reincorporation, must be done by the admin, manually.

I know is hard to do, and Borg hasn't time to do it....but is just and idea.
What do you think?

I use the report button, this is better as you can inform the moderators what the fuss is all about.

Is like a Report button but a lot more complete!
Can you imagine a button that automatically can send a private message to the user that violated the rules, edited the post adding a few words you want, and if you pressed 3 times, it ban the users!!

Is much more complete than the report button, amigo!

But if its a bad idea..I'm sorry.

lol If you've got enough users misbehaving that you need to automate the banning process, you need to address it as a social problem, not as a mechanization problem.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
