I have just noticed a problem when i use the Export wizard in Enterprise Manager (SQL Server 2000).

I use the option

Copy objects and data between sql server databases.

However when i run the DTS it transfers the databases and data ok. But it doesn't transfer my default of getDate() for my 'dateEntered ' column.

Could anyone please help me with this problem, thanks.

IIRC, You have to "include all dependent objects", and perhaps extended properties. There's also a check box for "use standard options" that's set on by default. Turn it off and a button becomes active that allows more selections.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
