I would like to know how you can save an image from a web page and then upload it to the web site. I have a web application where you can upload a file from your computer to the web site. Then you can create a thumbnail. I would like to be able to save the thumbnail as a new image file and then upload it to my web site.

I am not interested in clicking on my mouse to save the thumbnail. I would like to save it as an image and upload it to my web site.

What's the application? Is it actually doing a physical conversion, or is it displaying an image that's just been resized for display?

For example, If I have an image that's 400x500 pixels, I can give it a height and width so it displays as 80x100. If I right-click-save-as on it, it saves as a 400x500 image. Is this the case in your situation?

If you want to upload a full size image and then use an asp web component to resize it, look at ASPjpeg.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

I am already using ASP JPEG for this web application. I upload the full sized image to my web site without any problem.

Then I can create a thumbnail. I would like to be able to save it as a new image file and upload it to my web site. Please look at the creating thumbnail page below. I would like to be able to upload this particular picture to my web site and save it as another file. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this without using my mouse to save the picture?

Please look at http://support.persits.com/jpeg/pick_jpeg.asp. Please experiment with that web page.

1.) Please upload an image.

2.) Look at the next page where you have the option to change the size of the picture. Please reduce the size of your picture.

3.) Please create a thumbnail. I would like to be able to upload this image to my web site and save it as another image file name.

Do you understand what I'm trying to do?
