Hi i have integrated my WWF forum with the rest of my site.
Therefore i have turned og the one-way hash encryption.
BUT the admin pass is still encrypted, so i can't login on the forum only; in the admin section. Is there a way i can de encrypt the admin profile and password?
Another question, how can i make a normal user of the forum a moderator?

Thanks in advance :) ---(Please answer quick)

What version are you using if V7.01 +

you will need to open the database/edit the admins password and enter the new one .. so for the password password enter password in the password field.

to make a user a monderator click the username and then click modify the user details (near the bottom)..

then click admin moderator configuration (found at the bottom of the next page, and then change the group the user is in.

Turning off the encryption of passwords is not recommended as it can lead to problems within your forum.

It also leaves your forum wide open to any hacker, so if you are using the access version make sure you have followed the documentation on moving and renaming the Access database.

Like I said, you WILL run into problems, like you mention, if you turn off encryption of passwords. You should leave the passwords encrypted.
