Diffrent access-db drivers:
DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.51;
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;

Which driver is the fastest one?

I ran the test on my workstation using DNS to access my Dev. server

Hope this helps. As soon as ver 7 gose live I will run this test on my live server 800Mb Dual P-III 1Gb Mem

ummm did u just run it once or take an avrg of 10-20 tries? cuz let me tell you once or twice means nothing really...

I have been testing it for weeks

Honestly even thow the numbers where highter with the jet 4 it feals faster.

In theory the Jet 4 driver is faster than the generic Microsoft Access Driver as it does one less hit on the registery when in use.
