I read in the documentation that from 7.6 - 7.7 there are some sql amends

6. msSQL_server_setup.asp - removed the creating of the tblActiveUsers table and the stored procedures:-
 wwfSPActiveUsersWhereIPis
 wwfSPAddNewActiveUser
 wwfSPUpdateActiveUser
 wwfSPDeleteActiveUser
 wwfSPDeleteActiveUserDoubleEntry
 wwfSPCountOfActiveUsers
 wwfSPCountOfActiveGuests

How deos this effect upgrading an existing forum from 7.6 - 7.9.

Is there anything I need to run over the SQL database to remove / add or amend existing tables or can I just copy the new asp files up live.

you need to look around . but i think apart from the deletion of the active users table

i think nothing is done and are able to just upload the .asp files.. you need to have a look to see if any changes to stored procedures has been done (don't think so)

i think it is just uplaod new .asp files .

The version I have running on my development server seems fine and this only says about deleting stored procedure

 wwfSPActiveUsersWhereIPis
 wwfSPAddNewActiveUser
 wwfSPUpdateActiveUser
 wwfSPDeleteActiveUser
 wwfSPDeleteActiveUserDoubleEntry
 wwfSPCountOfActiveUsers
 wwfSPCountOfActiveGuests

I can't find anything else so will give it a go.

yes those stored procedures above are the ones for the active users feature before it was changed.
