I just installed SQL Server on my computer. I am getting the following error message: 

I've removed the error message. (9-30-2004)

Can someone please tell me how to change the permission on the database "master" so I can create databases?

Use a higher privileged account. By default sa and local administrators can do that, if youa re using your own account give him create_db rights in the security pane.
