I am using Win2kPro IIS and if I allow annoymous access, it will display the following error message

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] etc........

but if I disable annoymous access in IIS, it works...but it will ask for authenciated access username and password. How can I solve this?

How can I make annoymous access works in IIS?

Please help, Thanks

If you disable anonymous access in iis and have the integrated windows authentication checked, it tires to authenticate with your windows logon name. (NT Challenge Response) if you are not logged on with such it ask you to authenticate with the windows user/pass of existing on that server.

But if I want to enable anonymous access and disable windows authentication .....

I have unchecked windows authentication and checked anonymous access, but it displays this error message

Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005)

but it works if I disable anonymous access and enable windows authentication. Can anyone tell me how to make it works with anonymous access?

For anonymous access you should check to use integrated windows authetication as so it uses the internet guest account. Is there anything special you want to accomplish by changing security in IIS??
