That's a server limitation that you'll have to ask your host about. 2mb is usually the default for uploads using http protocol under iis. It can be overrided but maybe only on a server-wide basis IIRC.

You should look into using ftp for uploading files larger than 2mb as ftp is uses a lot fewer server resources than http.

There is at least one upload component out there that supports files larger than 2mb via http, I forget what it is, but it's not one of the more common ones. Your host would know about it if they support it.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

The limit is put in place as most upload components only allow upto 2Mb files.

Also, a word of warning, in tests that I have done when a person is uploading using an upload component the entire web site will stop until the upload is complete, and this can be quite awhile if the person is using a dial-up connection.

I found this out the hard way, which is why the demo of the Rich Text Editor for this site that deos allow uploads is now running in it's own subdomain, to prevent uploads from effecting performance for the rest of the site.
