Hey guys, sorry if this breaks any rules but could I ask a little favour from all of you?
And vote for 'The Downbeats' listed under 'T'. It's my brothers
band, and if he wins, he gets to open for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
and the Zutons!
Thanks!

XFM is one of the biggest London radio stations, and they were running
a competition for under 18 bands to send in demos and win the chance to
open for RHCP, he sent his demo in and got accepted!
They are pretty good, you can download their songs from www.downbeats.co.uk, I really like their songs!
Thanks all for voting, I think the result comes in monday morning, so those who haven't voted still have a chance!

Well, they screwed that one up. They are doing a revote tommorow by phone because people were double voting online.
Makes me laugh, they seem to track unique votes by IP address, not taking into account shared networks.
Thats bad enough, but instead of locking the vote page once your IP was registered with a vote, they achieve this with a cookie.
Big fluff up on their part! Seem to be shifting all the blame onto the young listeners desperate to win the prize.
Thanks for voting everyone! The phone re-vote is tommorow, I'll
post the text number/phone number incase anyone is feeling extra nice
and wants to text in a vote.
