I've spend some time working trying to figure out the font sizes in the RTE and I'm a little confused about this... Why use sizes 1-7 (without any definition) when the rest of the forum is set by the stylesheet, which is defined in pixels? Why not use the same 'scale'?

The RTE uses the built in RTE features of the browser.

Firefox has excellent support in it's Midas API (this is used for RTE) for CSS.

But IE doesn't and the HTML it produces isn't very good, so as still 90% of people use IE I have to work with that, so until people realise IE is naff and change over to Firefox we are stuck with using HTML font sizes in the RTE,

Is there any way I can change the default text size from 1 to 2 on my forum (www.servingsuggestion.com/forum)
 
I find the text size 1 to be very small and would prefer it to be 2 by default. How would I go about changing it?

im not sure but i think you can do it in the default_stle.css in the includes folder. change the size value.
