Check out the thread at

zaboss's code doesnt show up in IE6, but dj air's quote of it does.
Both the code and the quote show up fine in FF.

Not sure how zabass posted this as I have tried to replicate it in loads of ways but can not.

In his post for some reason the <% and %> has NOT been HTML encoded to <% and %> so IE doesn't show it.

When in RTE mode the browser automatically encodes these values and in non-RTE mode they should also be encoded, so without knowing exactly how zaboss posted this, and in what browser in RTE or non-RTE it's hard to track down what the problem maybe.

I added a post to that thread after I tried to edit my post that contained the zaboss quote...
Quote As another interesting aside, when I go to edit the post in IE, the rte shows blank lines between the code tags - took out all the data between the code - /code tags but left the linefeeds. When I preview the edited post, the code appears as blanks.

I thought It may have something to do with the new ie security releases - possibley related to "Courier New" containing a space and needing the extra quotes, or to the pre tag but haven't really persued it any further.

Maybe worth trying again as I have changed the RTE for the forum to use the old method of using an IFrame inconjunction with the file 'RTE_textbox.asp' opening in the IFrame.

This should hopefully fix any problems that people have been having with the RTE in the forum.

I uploaded the new version about 20 minutes ago.
